The show would be Undercovers, by J.J. Abrams. Now, I loved Alias, so obviously a new spy show from him was something that had me vaguely interested. It turns out that it's a spy comedy (making it even more obvious that they plan to pair it with Chuck), and that it's about married couple who are former spies who now run a catering business (no, seriously) and who get called back on the field. So that sounds amusing.
The leads are Boris Kodjoe (who is Austrian, and speaks several languages, which is AWESOME for a JJ Abrams spy show) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (who is English and was in Spooks and Doctor Who, among other stuff). And the fact that they're very very NOT white, is surprising and seriously awesome.
Totally excited about this one.
