Yeah... another one that I was ended up posting on its own. I fail at not being long-winded. And Dimmie is evil. XP
Top 5 Kagami moments
1. Walking in slowmo as he strips down to that wifebeater in God Speed Love.
Yes, I am very shallow.
2. That final scene with the kid in the factory who was a Worm. It's just... you want to understand Kagami, you just watch that scene. That's it, right there. This is Kagami, this is the guy that the universe seems to take great pleasure in beating down, again and again, who gets burned and betrayed at every turn, but never ever loses his faith in the human heart. Kagami is not an innocent. When he puts himself on the line for his faith, for that desire to believe in basic goodness, he does it knowing he'll get burned again and again. He does it knowing it might kill him. But he will never stop doing it, because he wouldn't be Kagami if he did.
3. When he and Misaki are pretending to be in RABU RABU so Tsurugi will leave Misaki alone... both those scenes. Those are just... seriously, they're some of the funniest shit I've ever seen on tv. XDDDDD
4. The entire arc about how he finds out the truth about Tadokoro, and the fallout of that. That's Kagami's real coming of age moment. His father has been a shitty father who's turned out to be the head of the shady organization he works for and planned all along to use him for his own ends, but at least he had Tadokoro, he was his mentor. And then he finds out he's a Native, and just... that's his low point (well, that and also later, after he supposedly kills Tendou and realizes OHSHIT I MAY HAVE SCREWED UP), that's the moment he comes closest to losing his faith. That's the fork in the road where he could have turned bitter. But he doesn't. He comes out of it all more determined and sure of his path than ever.
5. The final scene with Tendou, when they let the Zecters go.
I am NOT a Tendou/Kagami shipper. In fact, I downright dislike that pairing, because I think it does a disservice to Kagami (opinons will vary and obviously people will disagree with me on that). But I do love their relationship for what it is canon, for what it was to Kagami. I love their journey through the series, how Kagami starts off idolizing Tendou, how Tendou repeatedly treats him like shit and refuses to acknowledge, how he beats him over the head with "I am not your friend", and how all of that reflects Kagami's self-doubt and awkwardness... and in that scene, at the end, you see how much Kagami has.. not changed, because he hasn't CHANGED. But he's grown, he's come into his own. He's comfortable in his own skin, he knows his own strength and hsi own worth, and it's THEN that Tendou finally calls him a friend. They're finally equal, after Kagami found and followed his own path. And it's just such a perfect end to his story.

...I really need a Kagami icon. Actually I really need to go through my icons and get rid of a bunch of so I can have lots of Rider love in my icons. :D/
I WILL MAKE A KAGAMI ICON TONIGHT AND USE IT ON THIS POST. Yes!
