Finally got to Hiroto the Go-On Wings!

They're both cocky douchebags. I love them both already. Although to be honest, I was gonna love Hiroto no matter what, for obvious reasons...

But yeah, I tend to like asshole characters. :D/
Also, Hiroto's dry, condescending personality is a great contrast to the Go-Ongers genki yeeeeeeeey personalities.

And I'm kinda shipping Miu and Sosuke already. But then, I get the feeling I'm supposed to. :D;;;

Ah well, the thing is that the way you say it, "liking a character because of the actor playing him no matter how much of a jerk he is" implies that one likes the character because of the actor in spite of the character being a jerk... in my case, being the type of jerk that Hiroto is in and of itself actually a very very compelling reason to like the character.

I mean... Tsukasa? Is a dick, and I love him for it. Kitaoka? Is a narcissistic, hedonist douchebag, and probably my favorite rider character. Hajime? Ain't exactly sweetness and light. Yaguruma? Had a hell of a superiority complex as ZaBee and he didn't exactly turn into a nice person when he became KickHopper.

And the biggest, best example of them all? Atobe Keigo.

In conclusion? I like assholes \:D/

I'll rephrase then: "I get it even more when it's a character type you love combined with an actor you like playing them, because when that happens you're pretty much doomed" XD Happened for me before Kiva *aired* and I found out that my beloved MatsuKen was playing a werewolf. My reaction: "Well shit...I have no choice, now do I?"
