I'm tired and a little discouraged in fandom

For the past few years, most of my fandoming was on Twitter. At this point, over a year after the sale to elmo, I barely go there, and when I do, I don't stay long. I have an extension that makes it chronological and removes ads, but even so I mostly don't care, it feels like the little fandom communities I had on there are gone.

Which leaves me with not much to replace it.

I obviously don't post here very much and don't have much of a community. I was a big Tumblr user for awhile ten years ago, and while I like to read there, it really isn't great for interacting and I very much feel like I go ignored there, possibly I just don't know how to use tumblr as it is now.

I had hopes for Bluesky, but it just feels emptier and emptier with very little fandom presence.

Discord I'm generally terrible at, although the saving grace there is the sangcheng server. Which tends to be quiet, but I suppose that's better than it being super busy, which would make me bounce.

Mastodon is where I'm doing most of my fandom interaction these days. And I do really enjoy the conversations. It's just that it doesn't scratch the shippy itch, because I'm pretty much the only person that posts about the ship I'm most into.
