The president of Costa Rica asked the Dalai Lama to cancel a visit to our country in September. The reason? "In part" because it might "interfere" with plans for an official visit that Hu Jintao, the president of China, will make to Costa Rica in October.

I seriously cannot fucking believe this. How the fuck does a former Nobel Peace Prize winner justify asking the Dalai Lama not to come to Costa Rica? I CAN'T BELIEVE I VOTED FOR THIS ASSHOLE.
