Okay, well, to be honest the first time the thought crossed my mind that he might be was when he said, WAY at the beginning, that he he wasn't afraid of being betrayed, he was afraid to betray the ones he was close to.

But then I dismissed the idea that he was already an Orphenoc, because well... many reasons. Mostly I guess because I thought the series was foreshadowing him DYING and becoming one.

So I was surprised that he already was and knew he was.

ETA: Ooooooh, Kiba is onto you now, Kusaka. >D

Obviously not just that he lies. It's been obvious for a while that Kusaka is already an Orphenoc himself.




Wait wait... now it's being implied that he DIDN'T already know. He just... chose to become one right then? Just through sheer force of will? I'm so confused right now.

Wait what? :3 Takumi knew he was an Orphenoc since the accident as a kid. He just had suppressed his Orph nature and refused to become one unless he really really needed to in order to protect someone.

This arc makes me rage so much at that jerk Kusaka. :DDD

Ha! I didn't know about there had been an accident, but frankly I STRONGLY suspected that that's what's happened.

What happened to me was, it was the episode after he first reveals himself to be an Orphenoc, and this could be the subs, but someone said something about "So you just decided to become an Orphenoc to save her?" and he... well, didn't respond much of anything, but that threw me, because I'd assumed that it was like you just said, and that one comment seemed to hint at something else, and it was 2 am, so I went sdfhdkljfhldjhgfldkjghfdg WAT.

But yes. :D

Well, and like I said, I'd kind of been assuming that was the case. In fact I bet he must actually have some sort of connection to the Ryu... thingy dudes.

And yes, I've already seen Mari's first flashbacks to the reunion, but I'm wondering if she's remembering correctly or if she's... projecting Takumi's Orphenoc form onto another Orphenoc. Say, Kusaka.

Either that, or Kusaka fought with Takumi or whoever but was unable to do anything.

Isn't it? It's like I said that day, I respect his opinion a lot, even when I don't necessarily agree with him (like right now, he liked the Kiva episodes) because dude obviously knows his territory. I can respect his point of view because he can give decent, intelligent reasons to back up his arguments instead of just going lol I luurved Kiva world because Kamen Rider Twilight was so ~deep~ and ~doramatiku~ and hee hee Setomaru-chan is so kewt.

Well, for the record I found the Kiva eps to be boring compared to the Kuuga eps, but my opinion does not matter for I am n00b. 8Dv

Well, I snoozed through them. This week's one, I had the episode running on KeyHole and kept doing something else in the background. It just couldn't grab my attention for longer than a couple seconds here and there and I went back to the other windows, it was that boring. But I mean, I can respect Iga's opinion on these eps even if I don't agree, because at least I know he's speaking from a rational place, which was my point about Branch too.

But yeah, I can't wait for Ryuki. :D/

Haha, and I didn't find it as boring as you did, in part because it's all new to me, I suppose, so it's all a mystery, but it definitely didn't grab me like the previous ones.

A lot of it is Wataru annoyed me a lot.

Even so I wouldn't say I didn't enjoy them at all. But I'm glad they're going elsewhere now. :D
