Seriously, due to circumstances involving how guys can't seem to resist a cool action figure like Kickie, a couple of guys at work Expressed Interest in Kamen Rider. dimmie, they were most impressed with the production value, the Worm's evolved designs, Misaki's badass handling of her phone (seriously, they were flailing over how she snaps open her cel one handed and how badass it is), and how lots and lots of things go BOOOOOM spectacularly.
And the words 'Ten no michi wo iki' were barely out of Tendou's lips when they were already all starry-eyed and crushing like fangirls. 8D

Date: 2009-09-01 11:50 pm (UTC)Like I said, he was kind of expecting it to be like Power Rangers, so I think he went in kind of open minded but wary. The other guy knew more what to expect. But anyway, pretty much from the moment in the first scene when all those other Worms dropdown on the unsuspecting Zect Troopers, I knew that it had won them over, and from there it was a matter of them jsut liking it more and more as it went on. It was really hilarious actually.
About Misaki, you know I think she's awesome, but I never really noticed the cel phone thing before. And when she did it, one of them goes "ooooooh, that's DANGEROUS" and I was like "WHUT?" and then realized they were talking about the PHONE and it was so funny. XD
Also, when she gets on that big bike and drives away. Haha. Boys are so easy.
*says the girl that took immediate liking to Ren because of the bike and leather duster... and let's not even bring Yaguruma into it*
