Super Lawyer Kitaoka is IN THE HOUSE XD

With the knowledge of things to come, I'm really I'm amused that it almost seems like we're supposed to think Goro-chan is Zolda in the first scene of the ep.

...I had completely forgotten that Shinji dreamed he set fire to the newspaper's office and then thrashed the place with the fire extinguisher. XD

"MY INTUITION IS NEVER WRONG" Yui's Grandmother cracks me up.

Yeah, okay, outside of Yaguruma's reintroduction, I think that Kitaoka's introductions, with stupid car/foot chase, and all the mayhem and chaos, is probably my favorite intro for a character in Kamen Rider. Ever. It's so awesome. XD

"I'm so photogenic" I love that he gets completely derailed talking about his best angle and how good looking he is. XDD

"It got out that I embezzled their money" orz

And finally... the sheer joy on Kitaoka's face when Goro-chan shows up. And how Goro-chan is just as happy. Haha, and since we've established that Kitaoka is kind of like a grown up Atobe... I much preffer Kitaoka and Goro-chan's relationship to Atobe and Kabaji's. Goro is just so WEIRD and entertaining.... and I had not noticed Kitaoka is mock punching by himself as he watches Goro-chan beat everyone up.

♥ Goro-chan and Super Lawyer have the most endearing friendship in the whole series. I'd be lying to say I don't occasionally ship it like it's on fire (at least from Goro's side, possibly in a very Tomoyo way), but most of all it's this adorable "100% by your side" friendship they have that I love, where they know each other so well and trust each so much that they don't even worry about timing, they just know the other will be there. It's really sweet that, in a way, Goro's use of "sensei" for Kitaoka is not just an honorific for his boos or a generic title for a lawyer, the way he says it makes it take the tone of term of endearment, like he's saying "oh you ♥".

I just love them so much ;_;

Yeah, I think Goro-chan possibly has a bit of a mancrush on Super Lawyer. XD;
But it's not something htat interferes or is in your face or anything, it's just kind of this really cute "I love this guy!" thing. Specially because... well. As far as I saw the first time, Goro-chan is definitely the better person, and he knows it. I'm thinking of the whole thing with the little girl, Goro-chan was totally embarrassed at Super Lawyer's behavior at first, but that doesn't matter, he still loves the guy, and he knows that underneath that he CAN better than that.

And yes, the "sensei" thing.

I think Imay have asked this already... is Goro-chan a lawyer too?

He's completely devoted to serve Kitaoka for reasons that you'll find out later, but I think even on top of that, there is a sense of genuine love for Kitaoka there (bro love, friend love, not necessarily romantiku love), and Kitaoka too, for all that sometimes you think he's just indulging Goro's need to pamper him, you can also see in other parts that he truly cares for his Goro-chan, to the point of even being willing to be less of a douche when Goro asks really nice.

It's really like I like my Atobe & Kabaji, you can see that the master and servant dynamic exists, but beyond that there's obviously so much more between them that's necessarily for anyone else to understand. It's between them, they understand it, and that's good enough.

Also, Goro-chan is not a lawyer, but iinm he's saving his secretary pay to go to law school. :D♥

Is it because of the terminal cancer? Because I do know about that already. It made me wibble. If not, just don't answer. XD

The thing with comparing Kitaoka and Goro-chan to Atobe and Kabaji is... Kitaoka and Goro-chan win out for me just for sheer good humor. I mean, there's a lot of cute funny stuff with Atobe and Kabaji, but Kabaji is basically stoic while Goro-chan is... very special. XD

And also there's the fact that there's a playulness to Kitaoka's character that Keigo just doesn't have. I mean, Keigo is over the top and there's humor in that, but Keigo HIMSELF doesn't have a sense of humor about himself. On the other hand you get the thing that a lot of things are kind of a game to Kitaoka (in fact he says something about that right when he's introduced that I totally missed the first time). So it makes him a lot more endearing, in the end.

Oh surely I love Kitaoka a lot more than I could ever like Atobe, and I enjoy his thing with Goro-chan a lot more than Atobe's thing with Kabaji. :D I just mentioned it to elaborate on the parallel you made. :D;
