I watched this when I had the flu in December. It certainly made the hours pass by faster. And I adore Colin Firth in almost everything so he was a very nice bonus.

Have you seen him in Valmont? He plays the jerky seducer in a different version of Dangerous Liaisons. It's excellent. (The character is also more likable in that version.)
I wasn't a huge fan of Bridget Jones, but it amused me that he played a character named Darcy.
