I believe I’d mentioned planning to go back to university to study ceramics. Well, I am. Since I am pretty busy, I enrolled in only two classes.

Today I had my first intro to clay class and it was lovely and I can tell it will be almost therapeutic to go every week.

On the other hand, I ended up deciding to unenroll from intro to anthropology. It sounded super interesting, but there was also going to be a lot of reading. Which… I like reading. But the fact is, I’m still going to be relatively busy with work a couple more months before certain things end and I can ease off a little, and I also have chinese class, and the idea is for taking university classes to be fun, not add to my stress level.

I'm glad Intro to Clay seems so promising! ^_^

It does sound like dropping Intro to Anthropology is the right call. Were you enrolled long enough to get a copy of the reading list, so you have the option of reading some for fun/for getting a head start on the reading load if/when you take another stab at it?

the idea is for taking university classes to be fun, not add to my stress level.
