So I watched the first episode of Mr. Brain with my mother. Watching stuff with her includes having to explain certain things, in this case:

♪ KimuTaku: "Think of him like a Japanese George Clooney"

♪ Mizushima Hiro: I couldn't think of a good western actor analogy, so I told her "he's that dude that cried like a little girl because he had to eat bugs with the hot guy from Voice* \:D/"

*The hot guy from Voice is obviously Hanei, aka Sato "Dericious Facial Hair" Yuki Tomohito Yuki

♪ Hosts: when he first shows up as a host, I quickly explained about host and hostess clubs. I don't think she was paying attention, because a minute later we had this exchange:

Mother: He doesn't seem straight-laced like the kids from Voice*.
Me: Uh, no. He's a host. Hosts are SLEAZY. Red lights district!
Mother: ...oh.

*I don't think that she got that, as a former gang-member, Hanei is not supposed to read as all that straight-laced. :D

♪ Gackt: "Really famous singer who used to say he was a vampire \:D/"

She also spent the entire sequence where KimuTaku first shows up at IPS trying to figure out which of the women was the girl that broke her heel in the first scene. XD

At any rate, I realize I'm a year late and all, but Mr. Brain is awesome! I was DYING through most of the episode. XD
