Listening to the DL6 ost makes me think, for the millionth time, that someone needs to give Dai-chan a recording contract and convince him to pursue that as well as acting.

Because damn.

I plan on making screencaps with more detailed comments tomorrow, but for now, I'm just going to say that I have so much love for the new A!Hyoutei guys. Obviously for Yuu-chan, who is just both adorable but with just the right amount of intensity for Ohtori, but also mad mad props to both Akishin and Yuki, because I am SO impressed with both of them.

They had very hard shoes to fill, and they did it superbly. Yes, their Keigo and Yuushi are different from Kazuki's and Takumi's, and I love them for it. They brought their own interpretation to the roles and in my opinion made them their own. After seeing them it makes me very glad that MMV is giving them their due by having them be the permanent guests in Shitenhouji (Yuki for the whole run, and Akishin for the 4A half).

Love. Just absolute both for all 3 of them. ^o^v

I try to not be overly judgmental about people, specially when I don't personally know them or their personal circumstances, and I think you can apologize for saying something you shouldn't, but an apology doesn't really make the things he talked about any less true. So I say whatever, Yuu-chan is way cuter, and appreciates the experience of being on Tenimyu.

Never liked him anyway. 0=D

So apparently in today's blog entry, among other things, Kazuki says that he was iffy about it when they asked him to come back, because he felt that the baton had been passed, so to speak, but then decided to do it because he remembered it was a lot of fun (personally I think there must have been additional factors at play, but that's speculation and has no place here).

Anyway, it's interesting, because that's pretty much the exact reason I feel so ambivalent about it. I keep thinking I SHOULD be happy, and I TRY to be, but I honestly do think that on the one hand he HAS moved past it and shouldn't go back, and on the other, the role SHOULD be fully passed on to the new Atobes.

I mean... I don't really blame him for doing it, whatever factors it was that were involved, but I do feel a lot better about not being ecstatic about it after learning he has/had reservations too.

And I also give him a lot of props for even admitting he had reservations, given how ridiculously touchy and wanky certain fan circles in Japan are. To be blunt: I hope it doesn't backfire on him, but I think it's awesome that he said it.
