If this thing goes down, I'm sticking with you.
So I'm actually going back to watch stuff I missed, because Lost is actually interesting now, as opposed to the trainwreck it was back in season 3 when I stopped watching. And I watched this season's premiere, and look!

BOONE! ♡
Boone is... well, the catalyst that made me consider checking the series out again, because I read he was going to be back in it and he was my favorite character back in season 1 and I was so very sad about happened to him. Ironically, he has NOT been on at all except for ep 1, which I hadn't seen till last night. Although I assume he'll be in the finale.
But anyway. Much as I kind of hate the whole vampire craze the world is on, I am actually considering checking out The Vampire Diaries. Because Ian Somerhalder is just that pretty. 8D;;
Also, the quote in this post's title? D'awww.

As for Lost itself, I watched the entire first season in 2 weekends (the second half, in fact, I sat down and pretty much watched straight through, pausing to sleep and eat, etc). At the end of the second season, my first thought was "...I think these people are just pulling shit out of their ass". Then I put up with the first 8 eps of season 3 because D&C promised that they'd resolve the stupid stupid love triangle. And then they didn't. And seriously, by now I DID NOT CARE anymore who she picked, the ship was sucking the life out of the show. And other stupid stuff happened, so I threw in the towel.
I always suspected that the problem was that at that point in time they were trying to stretch out a story that seriously has a beginning and an end, and only so much PLOT to go from one to the other (the big problem with US series in general... lack of a definite end point hurts narrative). I heard that things improved once the end date was set but by then I didn't want anything to do with Lost.
And then time passed, and I stopped hating it on principle, and a good friend of mine from work is a huge fan (I have a bet going with him over whether Sawyer will survive the finale... if he dies, my friend has to treat me to a belgian waffle breakfast... now, I love Sawyer, but I'm about 99.9% sure that he's TOTALLY gonna die heroically), and then they promised Boone and I caved.

*is amused* I watched the entire first season in the span of about 3 days (pretty much straight through, cause I couldn't stop) because I actually got into the show during the second year and had to catch up *laughs*
The Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle has...well... kept going and going because of the fanbase. I was thrilled that Sawyer chose someone else (I cannot stand Kate...I only tolerate her because Sawyer cares about her, really) but of course...they had to go and kill her. So triangle open again *eyeroll* Luckily though they've stopped focusing on it so much.
Oh god...if Sawyer dies, even if it's heriocally, it's going to *destroy* me. I'm pretty much bracing myself for it though. I figure...the show's been kind to me all these years sparing him so of course they're going to kick me in the gut with his death at the end. This type of thing ALWAYS happens to my favorite characters D:
