So, basically, even though I know the major ZOMGSPOILERS like what happens to Locke and such... there's still plenty of OMG WHAT THE SHIT IS THIS??! moments in watching Lost. :D

And now I'm sorry that I gave up on it on season 3. Maybe if I hadn't been paying so much attention to the warring shippers, or reading the "spoilers" by Kristin and Ausiello, which focused on said ships, because seriously, THIS show? So not about ships, and making shipping the focus, in my opinion, misses the point by a mile. (Which is not to say I don't think that stories like Desmond and Penny's were really amazingly told, but enjoying that is completely different from reducing the show to "will Kate pick Jack or Sawyer").

Although in my own defense, there's PLENTY of people that DID stick it out that say season 3 was all over the place. I will say though, that from season 4 on this show has been quite awesome.

I get why people love Penny and Desmond so much now. That scene when he finally gets to call her... wow. ♡
gekidasa: (Good!)
So I'm actually going back to watch stuff I missed, because Lost is actually interesting now, as opposed to the trainwreck it was back in season 3 when I stopped watching. And I watched this season's premiere, and look!

BOONE! ♡

Boone is... well, the catalyst that made me consider checking the series out again, because I read he was going to be back in it and he was my favorite character back in season 1 and I was so very sad about happened to him. Ironically, he has NOT been on at all except for ep 1, which I hadn't seen till last night. Although I assume he'll be in the finale.

But anyway. Much as I kind of hate the whole vampire craze the world is on, I am actually considering checking out The Vampire Diaries. Because Ian Somerhalder is just that pretty. 8D;;

Also, the quote in this post's title? D'awww.

And by "these people" I mean "some Lost fans" (because I wouldn't want to generalize!). XD

So, basically there's one more episode of Lost before the big 2.5 hours finale, and in last night's ep, the shit hit the fan.

Putting the rest under a cut on the unlikely chance that anyone on my flist cares about Lost and doesn't want to be spoiled... oh, and vague references to Kamen Rider )

No characters are OWED a happy ending, no matter how much the fandom is rooting for them. And the fact that these people are having hissyfits because of it is... really amusing.
