So, basically, even though I know the major ZOMGSPOILERS like what happens to Locke and such... there's still plenty of OMG WHAT THE SHIT IS THIS??! moments in watching Lost. :D

And now I'm sorry that I gave up on it on season 3. Maybe if I hadn't been paying so much attention to the warring shippers, or reading the "spoilers" by Kristin and Ausiello, which focused on said ships, because seriously, THIS show? So not about ships, and making shipping the focus, in my opinion, misses the point by a mile. (Which is not to say I don't think that stories like Desmond and Penny's were really amazingly told, but enjoying that is completely different from reducing the show to "will Kate pick Jack or Sawyer").

Although in my own defense, there's PLENTY of people that DID stick it out that say season 3 was all over the place. I will say though, that from season 4 on this show has been quite awesome.

I'm so glad you got back into it, and are enjoying it now for the awesome that it is (and yes, season 4 on is when it kicks into gear). The ship wars are rather ridiculous and this is COMING from a shipper (Des/Penny, Skate, Suliet, and Jin/Sun in case you're wondering), and that is not the *sole* point of the show. I'm glad I stuck around with it too even though I've had my "throw my hands up in the air in frustration" moments about the series myself. It's totally worth it in the end. ^.^

Yeah I actually didn't watch any season 3 at all but then my husband (who watched it through) told me season 4 gets better and I am so glad I gave it another chance back then, it's been the only show we watch religiously.
